As a writer/author, I belong to several groups that keep me up-to-date on information concerning the publishing world. Today, in several of my groups, they are talking about pirated e-book websites, places that actually do alot of file sharing for free. People download them for free, leaving the author without royalties. Come on people, stop ripping us off. We work so hard to get published, most of us e-published first so we can break into print, and the dang e-books sell for less than $10.00, with some of them as low as $1.95, I just don't get it. What is wrong with paying that for a book? Wouldn't you pay more to go and buy it in print from a book store?
I'm truly pissed that some people are that way. Once my book is accepted I will do everything in my power to keep these idiots from giving my books away!
